Painted Mallards

Burl American Walnut.  A new twist for my calls, a painted pair of flying Mallards!  This is the first call I have painted the carved flying birds.  I used a pattern I have attempted before, with Mallards dodging the branches of a tree as they descend, but this time I painted the birds.  Each major feather group is pronounced, and all the identifiable wing feathers are defined.  I used an outstanding piece of Burl American Walnut, and coated the entire call with a sealer, and clear polyurethane finish.  $1200.00.
